We set up and manage contextual advertising for businesses in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This page explains where we started, how we work, and what we hold ourselves to.
Kekaji was registered in 2023 by a small group of people who had spent years running search campaigns for other agencies and wanted to do it differently: fewer accounts per specialist, more time per client. The first year was spent working with shops and trades around Birmingham, learning which campaign structures actually held up over months rather than looking good for a single report. By the end of that year the team had grown to cover strategy, account setup, and ongoing optimisation as separate roles, rather than asking one person to do everything.
Today the studio has 15 people and has completed 620 jobs for 360 clients across 4 districts in and around the city. Ninety-seven of those clients came back for a second project, which tells us more about the work than any figure we could write ourselves.
Our aim is straightforward: keep contextual advertising understandable and keep it accountable to a budget. A lot of business owners we meet have been burned by campaigns they never really understood, with reports full of terms nobody explained. We set out to run accounts where the client can look at the numbers and know what they mean, and where every change we make has a stated reason behind it.
We are not trying to be the biggest agency in the city. With a team of 15 handling 6 core services, we keep client numbers at a level where each account gets reviewed by a person who knows the business, not a system flagging it for a five-minute check.
These are not slogans on a wall. They are the things we check ourselves against when a job is finished.
The team's background covers search account structuring, keyword research, ad copywriting, and conversion tracking, split across roles rather than held by one generalist. Across three years of work, that has meant refining a setup process that starts with a fixed checklist: account structure, negative keyword lists, conversion tracking, and a review point at 30 days. It is procedural on purpose. Campaigns that follow a repeatable process are easier to audit and easier to hand between team members without losing context, which matters when a client has been with us for over a year.
We work across 6 services, from initial account setup to ongoing monthly management, and we keep detailed notes on every account so that changes made 18 months ago are still visible and explainable today.
